Reporting a bug
Tell us what happened and what you expected, plus your phone model, Android or iOS version (or browser) and the game language. A screenshot helps a lot.
Where are my lives saved?
Only on your device. There are no accounts and no cloud sync, so lives cannot be moved to another phone, and they are gone if you uninstall the app.
How do I play with friends?
On the home screen, tap “With friends”. With “On one phone”, you pass the phone around: everyone is born in the same second and you compare lives at every stage. With “Online room”, you create a room and send friends the code or link; everyone plays on their own phone. A room is deleted 48 hours after its last activity.
How do I leave out hard scenes?
In Settings on the home screen, turn on “Leave out hard scenes”. It applies to new lives.
How long does a life take?
In Settings you can choose about 15, 30 or 60 minutes. During a life you can speed time up or jump straight to the next decision. The game saves as you go, so you can come back later.
Where does the data come from?
From public sources: the UN (World Population Prospects), the World Bank, WHO, UNESCO, the ILO and others. The source is shown next to every fact in the game. If you spot an inaccuracy, let us know.
